Company Vision:
Provide hands free computing for everybody, especially disabled
people
The main asset of Xytech AB is The Oral Mouse.
The Oral
Mouse is patented, by IT engineer Erik Ullman and dentist
surgeon Tomas Brusell.
It is a hands free replacement for the standard computer
mouse.
It consists of an extra oral, headset-mounted ultrasound device to detect mouth
and tongue movements and translate these into the movements and clicks
of a computer mouse. Nothing inside the mouth.
With the Oral Mouse the hand needed to operate a
conventional mouse is set free for other uses.
The Oral Mouse is demonstrated in
a first prototype, based on software by IT engineer
Jonas Rundberg and the development of the working model is made
in cooperation with Brusell Dental AS, Senior Researcher Tone Berg,
Sintef and IT engineer Joachim Widegren.
